Last updated: 2026-10-04. Subscriptions renew automatically by default, and you can turn this off at any time. This page describes how turning off auto-renewal, expiry, downgrades, orders and account deletion actually behave.

1. Turning off auto-renewal

  • Turn auto-renewal off in the customer center under "Orders · Manage subscription"; it takes effect at any time, and a renewal order that has been generated but not paid is withdrawn at the same time.
  • After you turn it off, the current period stays usable as normal, it is not renewed after it ends, and no further renewal is charged; you can subscribe again later if you need to.

2. Expiry and returning to the free tier

  • When a subscription period ends without renewal, the account returns to the free tier: you can keep signing in, and view and manage your personal material and knowledge base, while paid benefits stop.
  • When the quota is used up the corresponding service pauses and nothing extra is charged; the week's quota is restored every Monday at 00:00 (China time).

3. Upgrades and downgrades

  • An upgrade takes effect immediately once paid; a downgrade takes effect after the current period ends, and until then you keep using the current plan.
  • A payment received only after an order's validity has passed is not simply swallowed: the order goes to manual handling, and the support email confirms with you whether to refund or place the order again.

4. Device rebind cooldown

Switching computers uses the same 30-day cooldown at every entry point: after a successful self-service rebind in the Portal you need to activate again on the new device; support can handle exceptions after verification and keeps an audit record. The cooldown only affects how often you can switch devices, and does not affect benefits you have already paid for.

5. Account and data deletion

Deleting an account or data is handled manually by email: send to luminameet@gmail.com · WeChat support: luminameet_01, and we carry it out after verifying account ownership and confirm by email. The deletion rules and the backup rotation window are in section 8 of the privacy notice; personal knowledge base entries can also be deleted yourself in the customer center, and deletion takes effect immediately.

6. To be confirmed, and contact

How remaining benefits are handled, how notice is given and exceptions in the formal cancellation policy will be added to this page once confirmed; for refund requests see Refunds and Subscription Notes, and for other support matters see Support and contact. Until the formal text is published, this page describes only the actual behavior already in effect above.
