Refunds and Subscription Notes
Last updated: 2026-10-04. This page explains how a Lumina subscription is purchased and expires, what happens when the balance runs out, and the actual process for a refund request. The subscription mechanism is consistent with the pricing page and the status shown in the customer center.
1. Monthly subscription and auto-renewal
- A subscription period is 30 days, and auto-renewal is on by default when you subscribe. Payment methods that support automatic charging are charged automatically when the period ends; for other payment methods a renewal order is generated 5 days before expiry and you are reminded to pay.
- You can turn auto-renewal off in the customer center at any time: after that the current period stays usable as normal, it is not renewed after it ends, and no further renewal is charged.
- An upgrade takes effect immediately once paid; a downgrade takes effect after the current period ends. Paying a renewal order in advance does not shorten a period already paid for, and the new period follows the current one.
2. Billing by quota
- Each period has one usage quota, deducted by actual usage, and the part available for the week is restored every Monday at 00:00 (China time); when the quota is used up the corresponding service pauses and nothing extra is charged.
- Minute or item balances bought before the billing method was changed are no longer used for billing; paid subscription periods are not affected.
- The free tier's trial quota is a gift, not a purchase, and is outside the scope of refunds.
3. Requesting a refund
Refunds are handled manually by email. Please send to luminameet@gmail.com · WeChat support: luminameet_01, and include:
- the account mobile number (and the email too, if you have set one);
- the order number and order time (visible in the "Orders" list in the customer center);
- the reason for the refund and how you would like it handled.
After we verify the order and the payment record, we process it through the actual payment channel (usually returned by the original route; if it cannot be returned that way we confirm another method with you), and reply with the result by email. Orders that lack time evidence or involve abnormal payments first go to manual review.
4. Eligibility and time limits still to be confirmed
The products covered by the formal refund policy, the application window, usage conditions, non-refundable items, taxes and payment channel differences will be published on this page once confirmed. Until then we process each order individually under the manual process above, but this page does not promise specific days, ratios or an "unconditional refund": please go by the result in the email reply.
5. Payment channels and invoices
Manually confirmed payment channels are supported at present; whether an online payment channel is enabled is as actually described on the customer center order page, and a method that does not appear on the checkout page is not enabled at present. Invoices and invoicing details are as described on the order page, and you can note invoice header requirements in the order remarks.
6. Contact and status checks
Order and payment status can be checked in the customer center; for refund progress, abnormal payments or compensation questions, email luminameet@gmail.com · WeChat support: luminameet_01. The rules for cancellation and expiry are in the cancellation notes, and other support matters are in Support and contact.
