Marketing disclosure
If paid promotion, revenue sharing, complimentary benefits or any other relationship that could affect whether a recommendation is independent appears in the future, it will be stated in words next to the relevant content. Today there is no public list of such relationships.
1. Why we disclose
You should be able to tell three kinds of content apart: product facts, editorial explanations, and promotion that involves a financial relationship. The distinction has to be written out in words, not hinted at with colors or small icons.
2. Current status
The partner program is not open yet. There are currently no public commission rates, promoters, partner customers or paid endorsements, so none are listed here.
3. Future requirements
Once a real promotional relationship exists, we will state the type of relationship, its scope and where it is disclosed. Marketing copy will also not overstate security, compatibility, price or product capability.
4. Conditions for publication
The formal text and the way of disclosure will be confirmed professionally and updated as promotional relationships actually come into being. What you can do now: read this page together with the partner program page, and expect any recommendation involving a financial relationship to come with a written explanation.
